PDFer is available for Windows, Mac OS X and x86 Linux.
You can use the table below to choose your desired download format :
| Version | Download | Description | ||
|---|---|---|---|---|
|
PDFer-1.1.0.exe | This is a self-contained installer. After downloading, simply double-click on the .exe, and you will be taken step-by-step through the installation procedure. | ||
| PDFer-1.1.0.zip | This is a zip-compressed version of the .exe installer above. This is provided since some servers do not allow executable files to be downloaded through their firewalls. You will need to unzip this file before you can run the installer (if you aren't sure, try unzipping with Winzip) | |||
|
This is a self-contained installer in a compressed disk image. Once downloaded, your computer should automatically run the installer, and step you through the processes. If your browser doesn't automatically mount and run the disk image, simply double-click on the image and it will mount on your desktop. To install, double-click on the PDFer.pkg installer package, and follow the instructions. |

PDFerX-1.1.0.zip | Until I can work out how to package things up properly for Linux, I've decided to go with the zip format for now. Once unpacked somewhere, you may need to set the permissions of the
PDFerX executable to allow you to launch it. You can do so from the
command line by entering : chmod +x PDFerX |
